Exploration of language, the “research of” that turned into “search for” [language].
swollowed tongues
Encapsulated feeling of not being able to talk. No means that there’s nothing to say, but the conversation is impossible, yet it converses. Plaster casts later shaped, inspired from the mountains of France. Resembles crumbling, almost eaten up feeling. Inside of these rocks, underneath the tongues, are transducers that play sound composition made from field recordings, sound that one can almost miss, but if you come closer you can hear something inside trying to escape, trying to tell something. The sound can also be experienced through touch as the transducers resonate the plaster.

for beginners
Inability to talk often stems out of the encounter with the unknown. It is made for beginners – an empty vocabulary for you to fill. One could make a vocabulary of self, and give it to someone to read, to get to know. One could make it about a city discovered during a vacation. One could use it as a notepad for language learning. For the new to be known. The desire to get to know, the desire to be known.

The exploration of success, the accident of it, the size of it, the determination for it. 29 climbs, 29 letters from self (in France) to self (in Latvia) to document it. A plaster cast of The mountain.
